ABOUT US
SIRIUS Capital is a Dubai based private investment and advisory firm with expertise in turnaround management, restructuring advisory, distressed assets, special situations, private credit, and private equity.
SIRIUS Special Situations Fund focuses on sector agnostic private equity and credit investments in the UAE across distressed buyouts, turnaround opportunities, special situations, growth capital and more. We invest in companies that are in various stages of distress with a strong focus on their turnaround potential and drive value through financial turnaround and/or operational restructuring.
The Fund was established in 2020 and is backed by banking veterans with longstanding relationships in the UAE that gives us access to a large number of investment opportunities. The Fund is supported by an exceptional in-house restructuring advisory arm, allowing for a consistent and exclusive deal flow pipeline. We specialise in NPA management solutions for banks and financial institutions by providing alternative finance to remediate distressed corporate situations.
We deploy flexible capital that leverages the depth and experience of our investment team by following a multi-stage and rigorous due diligence process at the industry, company and individual security levels. We partner with management teams to turnaround NPAs and deliver superior risk-adjusted returns that are otherwise inaccessible to private equity investors in the region.
SIRIUS Restructuring Advisory helps its clients analyse, structure, negotiate and execute optimal solutions for all their stakeholders supported by our proven expertise and extensive experience in restructuring and remediation. The restructuring advisory team has a demonstrated track record in handling NPAs & distressed situations for banks, implementing robust risk management systems, leading complex multi-banked debt restructuring programs, asset tracing, recovering receivables and managing litigation.
The advisory arm of SIRIUS Capital derives a huge advantage from its unique business model wherein the restructuring advisory practice feeds into a Special Situations Fund that deploys flexible capital to achieve faster turnaround of NPAs.
